Privacy Policy
Last updated October 27, 2026
This policy explains what Fraud Next Steps ("we," "us") collects on fraudnextsteps.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- What you give us. If you request a call, we collect your first name, last name, phone number, email, and your consent to be contacted.
- Calls. If you call the number on this site, our call-tracking provider records the number you called from, the time, and the length of the call so we can tell which pages lead to calls.
- Usage data. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar tools to count visits, see which pages are used, and measure our advertising.
- Consent records. When you submit the form, a third-party service may record the page and the consent language you agreed to, as proof of your consent.
How we use it
- To connect you with EverGuard, our identity protection partner, so a specialist can contact you.
- To measure which pages and ads work, and to improve the site.
- To keep records required by law and to prevent fraud and abuse.
Who we share it with
- EverGuard. When you request a call or call the number on this site, your contact details go to EverGuard so it can reach you. EverGuard's own privacy policy then applies to how it uses them. We may be paid for this.
- Service providers that run our hosting, call tracking, analytics, advertising, and consent records, only to do that work for us.
- Legal reasons, when the law requires it or to protect people from fraud.
Because we may be paid when we pass your information to EverGuard, some state laws treat this as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
Your choices
- Stop calls and texts. Tell the caller to stop, reply STOP to any text, or email us.
- Do not sell or share my info. Email contact@fraudnextsteps.com with the subject "Do Not Sell" and the phone and email you used. We'll stop passing your information on going forward.
- See, correct, or delete your information. Email us and we'll respond within the time your state's law requires.
- Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. We honor Global Privacy Control signals.
How long we keep it
We keep contact and consent records for as long as we need them for the purposes above and to meet legal requirements, generally up to five years for consent records.
Children
This site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no website can promise perfect security. We will never ask for your Social Security number, bank login, or card number.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
